Lynette Rayner was elected to the Netball NZ Board in February 2024. She is a lifelong netballer, having been immersed in all facets of the game.
In a professional capacity, Lynette owns an accountancy practice in Marlborough, and from both her professional and governance positions, she has extensive business and director experience, and her community roles in the not-for-profit area have given her a broad understanding of the sector.
She currently holds various Director and Trustee roles across health, electricity, sport, community and professional bodies.
Lynette was previously Chair of Marlborough Netball, was a Board member of Mainland Netball, including the Tactix franchise, and has recently been involved in the build of Christchurch Netball Centre's new indoor facility at Ngā Puna Wai.
Lynette is looking forward to having input into the strategies that impact the positive delivery of netball throughout New Zealand.
