New Zealand sports are coming together to acknowledge and celebrate their rainbow communities and support the wider rainbow whanau by walking in the Auckland Rainbow Parade next month.
The Auckland Rainbow Parade is all about bringing together the community and allies, and celebrating diversity and inclusion, and will be an uplifting event with a carnival-style atmosphere, with dancing, performances, plenty of music and noise!
All participants, supporters, and communities from across our sports are invited to pull on their club colours, matchday kit or sports outfits and come together in a show of unity.
The Auckland Rainbow Parade details:
Saturday 20 February
5.30pm-7.00pm (attendees will need to be there in advance of this time).
