Netball New Zealand (NNZ) has entered a new two-year partnership with leading New Zealand food manufacturer George Weston Foods (NZ) Limited (GWF) and their Tip Top Bakery brand.
NNZ confirmed a two-year contract with Tip Top Bakery who have added their support to both the ANZ Premiership and the futureFERNS programme.
Chief Executive Jennie Wyllie said NNZ was thrilled to launch the partnership which will see Tip Top Bakery become the Major Partner of their futureFERNS programme for Year 1-8 netballers, and also the Official Partner of the ANZ Premiership.
“GWF is a well-respected innovative food manufacturer in New Zealand and Tip Top Bakery is an iconic brand, so we are delighted to welcome them into the NNZ family,” she said.
“We proudly align our values with Tip Top Bakery with the goal to help promote healthy choices to children throughout the country and believe our new partner is a great fit.
“To be able to team up with Tip Top Bakery is exciting and we’re looking forward to building our relationship over the next two years.”
Tip Top Bakery Senior Brand Manager Kate Abercrombie said they were excited about the new partnership with Netball New Zealand and involvement with futureFERNS and the ANZ Premiership.
“We want to bring Tip Top Bakery closer to our local communities and what better way to do that than through one of New Zealand sport’s leading domestic competitions and children’s programmes,” she said.
“Like all of our brands, Tip Top Bakery is about helping Kiwi families thrive which we know is also at the heart of Netball New Zealand and both the futureFERNS and ANZ Premiership. I’m really excited about this partnership and what we can do together over the next two years.”
Abercrombie said Tip Top Bakery would be seen across the ANZ Premiership, in local netball communities and at some netball Festival Days across the country.
