Netball New Zealand partners with DMC Sport

Netball New Zealand (NNZ) recently announced a four-year official partnership with global equipment supplier DMC Sport.

The partnership will see DMC Sport become an official partner to NNZ as the official junior programme ball supplier, the official equipment supplier, and the official programme apparel supplier.

The partnership includes the provision of quality balls, equipment and participant packs as well as a community e-commerce store for the NNZ grassroots participants, coaches and umpires within their national programmes including futureFERNS, NetballSmart and Pacific Sporting Partnerships as part of the Youth Engagement Strategy.

NNZ has a proud tradition of widespread participation and sporting excellence from grassroots netball through to the Silver Ferns and are eager to evolve their existing community-based programmes including futureFERNS, NetballSmart through the Youth Engagement Strategy.

Netball New Zealand chief executive Jennie Wyllie said partnering with DMC was an exciting development for our community netball programmes.

"Netball NZ has been impressed with DMC and their innovative, systemised approach and technology-based solutions they provide our community game with the specialised products and services that our progamme needs," she said.

Based in Australia but with access to global manufacturing and distribution platforms, DMC Sport delivers similar solutions for organisations such as Australian Football League, Australian Sailing, Rugby Australia, New Zealand Cricket, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).

“We are excited to be partnering with Netball New Zealand to support their Youth Engagement Strategy,” said DMC Sport Chief Executive Officer Louise Gale.

“We’ve implemented some innovative new features into the NNZ community shop as part of the Youth Engagement Strategy to drive participation and create a centralised solution to take the administrative burden away from coaches and clubs so they can focus on getting more kids playing netball. We do this by drawing upon our expertise across the many sporting organisations we work with around the globe.”
