Netball New Zealand is pleased to announce the 2022 Netball Connections Conference, which will take place on Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 November at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, Ōtautahi Christchurch.
The inaugural Netball Connections Conference is the premier gathering for netball leaders in New Zealand. This event provides a unique opportunity to reconnect and celebrate the game and our unique leadership of women in Aotearoa.
Netball remains the number one sport in NZ Secondary Schools and is the number one sport for women and girls in this country. This conference is an opportunity for the leaders in our game (from grassroots to the elite) to connect, learn from each other, challenge ourselves and each other, seek opportunities to grow participation and grow the quality of netball experiences in our sport at all levels. Throughout the three-day conference the following topics will be covered.
- The essence/wairua of mana wāhine
- Reconnecting and disruption – within and across our games and communities
- The voice of the participant, the fan, the ‘customer’
- Transformation through technology and data insights
- Looking forward to 2023 and beyond both on and off the court
