Robinson appointed manager of NZSS team
Netball New Zealand (NNZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Meghan Robinson to the role of NZSS team manager.
The current manager of the SKYCITY Mystics in the ANZ Premiership, Meghan will work alongside NZSS head coach Mary-Jane Araroa and assistant coach Charissa Barham.
Araroa says Robinson will bring a lot of enthusiasm and innovative ideas to the role, which we believe is important for engaging this age group.
“We are pleased to welcome Meghan who will complete our team. She brings a passion for Netball and has some new and innovative ideas around team communication that we look forward to implementing,” Araroa said.
“Meghan’s commitment to her own professional development was impressive; she wants to continue to learn and grow, and understands the importance of team performance and how her role integrates with that.”
Prior to taking on her role with the Mystics, Robinson was the manager for Northern in the Beko Netball League (2016) as well as with numerous Auckland Netball Centre representative teams and has been the Club Captain at College Rifles Netball Club since 2010.
The NZSS team will be selected following the Netball NZ U17 Champs in July and will travel to Canberra in September for a series of matches against the Australian 17/U Squad.
