Coaching for Success

Over the next few months, Netball New Zealand in conjunction with our five Zones, will be running a Coaching for Success National Roadshow throughout the country.

The Coaching for Success National Roadshow will feature four specialised workshops, held over the course of a day, where key experts will demonstrate the fundamentals of Youth Coaching.

Lead by Silver Ferns Assistant Coach Deb Fuller, the interactive workshops are specifically targeted at Secondary School Coaches with the hopes of providing techniques and processes to enable coaches to maximise the performance of their players.

Tania Karauria, National Manager for Coach Development, is excited to get these workshops underway.

“As coaches, we all play a part as kaitiaki (guardians of netball) to create safe, fun and challenging quality environments, where our young people will flourish as players and as people. I hope all who attend feel that they can take away key learnings from our experts to implement in their own coaching strategies.”

The first workshop will be in the Northern Zone, the morning of the ANZ Premiership Super Sunday. Please contact your local Zone to find out when your Coaching for Success Workshops will be.
